Announcing our first ever full production for students ages 8-18, “Romeo & Juliet: Young Hearts be Free,” a jukebox musical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s timeless love story, June 25th & 26th, 2026, at Ogden Shakespeare Festival’s new studio!
Welcome to Verona, 1986! In this production young artists will belt 1980’s tunes like, “Love is a Battlefield,” “Sweet Dreams are Made of These,” “Crazy for You,” “Let’s Dance,” and much more! We’ll teach you to sing, dance, fight, and act all while learning more about the masterful craft and storytelling of William Shakespeare.
Auditions will be Saturday, May, 2nd or Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at OSF Studio, 3586 Brinker Avenue, Ogden, UT 84403.
Rehearsals are Mondays-Fridays, 9am-2pm, June 1-June 24, 2026.
Performances are Thursday-Friday, June 25-26, 2026 @ 7pm at OSF.
Tuition is $400 per person ($50 off tuition for additional students per household). Tuition fees cover professional, certified instruction in acting, dance, stage combat, voice, and Shakespeare text, as well as all instructional materials, costumes, props, and a souvenir t-shirt!
